Things that make me happy
Arent't always my fault, and I rarely have control over them
But I can appreciate their beauty as long as I

The Garden
the iris
This "sugar blues" iris was intentionally a Christmas gift for one of my good friends. I painted the terra cotta pot myself and planted the bulb and planned on gifting it to her during the season. Unfortunately we live many miles apart and have been unable to rendezvous. Until then this beautiful bulb is reaching to the sun. I'd say it's about 3' tall now. They grow up so fast!
the strawberriesI got these at Lowes one day. They seem to be flourishing. I wonder when I'll be able to eat one..
the mint
also picked these up from Lowes. I had to transplant them from a lesser desirable location though. I think they're doing just fine, there's a fat healthy sprout coming up that looks promisingly minty. I also planted some daisy seeds in here. We'll see how that goes.
And there are others but I must be getting ready for work now.. I'll post more later.
