Voiceless and Blind

No I'm not speaking figuratively, I am quite literally unable to talk and my right is so swollen and red. Not sure if they're correlated however it makes for an interesting cameo here at the coffee shop on a Tuesday morning as I wait for Nature's Nutrients (an all natural remedy shop) to open.
On my way to the clinic this morning I was speaking with my mom, over the course of our conversation I decided that my budget vs. body controversy had made a decision. Rather than investing my bank account into this visit, which would not result in me attaining large colorful feathery wings and laser vision, I decided to go for a more natural and core-building alternative.
Over a year ago I had a similar incident, it may or may not be in the history of this blog actually. However it was much more miserable as it felt as though my eye was full of a fine sand. I am not feeling any sand this time, just a red puffy ugly eye and some white goopies. It looks similar to pink eye however it does not feel irritated. (Pink eye itches, horribly).
And the irony of all of this is my lack of medical insurance to pay for anything! My coverage by Medi-Cal in Fresno county expired eleven days ago. It's my responsibility now to reapply under Madera county. Too bad the federal government is taking a billion years to pass this health care bill.
Last night Josh, our friend Nath, and myself were planning on going to Ashley's house to get drunk, as usual. (But that's normally all we do over there). But I knew after my eye began to swell and pus, and my inability to speak it was not in my best interest to put that kind of stress on my body. Becuase ultimately drinking leads to smoking, and then I would have to kill myself.
Someone like Ashley doesn't take any time or measures to take care of her body, something that she will regret in the near, or not-s0-near future.

She will be old and ugly.

I hope she can make a change for the better.

Well, the shop is open now, i best be going.
